'I told the truth,' Murray says in YouTube post

(Newser) – Dr. Conrad Murray posted a YouTube message today thanking friends and patients for support through the trial-by-media that has all but convicted him of complicity in Michael Jackson’s death, the Los Angeles Times reports. Murray says that the current frenzy means he can’t return calls or use email. Of the manslaughter investigation in which he is a suspect, Murray said only that “I told the truth and I have faith the truth will prevail.”

Yes, "the truth will prevail," as Dr. Murray is guilty of injecting a drug that is to only be used in a surgical setting. Furthermore, it's a shame fans can't file a wrongful death lawsuit as we've been robbed of ever again seeing Michael Jackson except in video clips.

Emergency responders wouldn’t have been able to come through the gate, the doctor claimed: "No one is allowed to come upstairs except for Mr. Jackson."
