(Newser) – President Obama is still working on the eulogy he’ll deliver at Ted Kennedy’s funeral tomorrow in Boston, an aide tells Politico tonight. Though Obama will offer “a personal take on the senator as legislator, mentor, colleague, friend and family member,” the aide says, it’s “more about his impact on the country.”

The real humor here is that Ted Kennedy was a buffoon. The only thing to name after him would be a liquor store. The Pandering media coverage of this funeral is typical of the American Press, worthless. It also shows how lame the Democratic Party is, to eulogize a putz like Kennedy to this degree is Monty Python Absurd. Just bury the drunk, say some nice words and move on.

I would agree with you that at some point we need to move on. And I agree that Ted Kennedy was a flawed human being, as we all are. But it seems little, and mean spirited to denigrate him at the time of his death, just because you didn't agree with his politics. I don't remember a lot of that going on at the time of Ronald Reagan's demise.
