Dupre to Ladies Who Judge: You're No Better Than a Hooker

'Get real and get over yourself': Spitzer babe

(Newser) – Ashley Dupre has a message for the ladies out there "who just love to judge" her $4,300 romp with a sitting governor: you're no better than hookers. The onetime Eliot Spitzer call girl blogged a rant about women who look down on her but "target guys with money" and use them to get "nice shoes, designer handbags, and gorgeous clothes," the New York Post reports.

These women in "dishonest relationships" are "all over New York City," Dupre writes, and the housewives "strung out on mood stabilizers" over in New Jersey are no better. Dupre has kinder words for the ex-governor: she's happy he's "moving on" and considering going back into politics. "Everyone deserves a second chance," she says. "Me too, right? Well, apparently not. Why? Because many people are liars and hypocrites."

I'm often referred to as the "woman who brought down the Governor" - excuse me people, I didn't call the tabloids, I didn't blow the whistle and I didn't save "the dress." I did nothing to shine a light on my indiscretions or to "out" anyone else. -

ruserious, Timinator2K (and others) are talking about deep seated biological tendencies developed over thousands of years of evolution in much cruder survival condition than the modern ones we enjoy today. All women have some dimension of this programming, but thankfully, we also have intellect which can override vulgar instinct if we are so inclined and willing to hammer out a personal philosophy. It isn't productive for us to deny the hard truths that Timinator2K highlights, but of course any man that doubts that we have the will to resist that programming is probably one who doesn't resist their own primitive programming, which would include misogyny, hawkishness, power-lust, acquisitiveness, etc. As with women, many men do not get past their primitive programming. I'd say they deserve each other, and as for the rest of us, well, I guess we deserve each other also.

Riffran, The conscious moral transgressor is likely to have more insight on morality than the dutifully obeisant. There's no irony here. Experience gives insight. Rules-following sometimes just gives one an inexplicable sense of (undeserved) superiority..

In a way she is right. There are a lot of women out there that have had sex to get a better job, or to land that husband, not to say anything about the women that are mistresses or have no problem with going out with married men. She just happened to get paid quite well for her efforts. Envy sure does hurt doesn't it.
