Fla. Priest Is My Babydaddy: Ex-Stripper

Woman took payoff over 'inappropriate relationship' with same father 3 years ago

(Newser) – The Vatican famously frowns on randy clergy, but Rome is surely burning over this one—former stripper Beatrice Hernandez tells CBS4 that a Florida priest fathered her baby, and she's seeking a restraining order after he attacked her for demanding a DNA test. Hernandez, who says her relationship with Father David Dueppen began while she was taking it off at the dubiously-named Porky's, took a payoff three years ago from the local diocese over an "inappropriate relationship" with, you guessed it, Dueppen.

“David said to me that if I go to the media, he would make me disappear and take my baby,” Hernandez says. Dueppen—who once pastored the same Miami church led by “Kissing Priest” Alberto Cutié—has been on administrative leave “for personal reasons” for a month, says an Archdiocese spokesperson.

Good points, reader, and Hughchi, but the actual source of the problem is religion itself, and the social convention of sexual repression, which religion tends to emphasize and make worse. There need to be more strippers who try to uncorrupt priests. Priests are already corrupted by religion and ridiculous ideas of religion, like the idea that they should never have sex.

I agree with you except that religious people will never get over their sexual hangups. Having sexual hangups, and trying to regulate sex, is a primal part of their system.

Hughchi has stated in a simple paragraph the whole source of the problem; land acquisition, retention of tithes, keeping it in the church, etc. But it will take years to unravel that which started in 1563.
