Jacko Tape: Hitler Was a Great Showman

Singer told rabbi friend that he could have helped turn Hitler away from evil

Share

(Newser) – Michael Jackson knew the power to move crowds when he saw it. "Hitler was a genius orator," the star told his rabbi buddy Shmuley Boteach in the course of many hours of taped conversations obtained by the Sun. "To make that many people turn and change and hate, he had to be a showman and he was." Jackson also claimed that he could have changed Hitler, by touching something inside of him, given the chance.

He insisted that no human being is purely evil. "You have to help them, give them therapy, teach them that somewhere, something in their life went wrong," he said.

Why does everyone thumbs down any mention of pedophilia with MJ? When you grow up and have kids you will realize the horror of a 40 something man saying in an interview with Martin Bashir that he shares his bed with children that are not his. You will realize the horror that actual victims of pedophiles felt when America decided to celebrate this man. Yes, I know, he won his jury trial. So did OJ. He paid 20 million in a civil suit that prevented the victim from later testifying against him. Oh, OJ only paid 15 million in his civil suit. Go celebrate him, pedophile fans.

One last thing. America celebrated MJ because the media led the way. Why? Because he was worth a lot of advertising money with his month long funeral coverage. And his music is worth perhaps billions to the media. If OJ had any value other than a few measly residuals for Naked Gun, he would have been embraced by our wonderful media too. MJ's music was some of the greatest ever. But listen to the music. Don't celebrate the man.

@ Spudsy: the diff. between MJ and OJ is that OJ was a killer that got away with it THANKS to his millions. While MJ was taken advantage of BECAUSE of his millions. The man ran an amusement park for disabled and sick children, he helped pay for children's cancer treatments, and let sick children have slumber parties at his house and even his bed (while he himself was sleeping on the floor). I admit that if some creepy old guy would let other people's children sleep in his bed that would be quite disturbing. But when a megastar and a music icon does it, in a house where you have dozens of servants and watching eyes, I would say it's completely acceptable. It's is the media that demonized him, but he's no pedophile. (and that's coming from someone who was never a big fan of of MJ's music, but at least I have deep respect for him for all he's done, for his art, and for his innocence).
