Comcast Near $35B Deal for NBC Universal

Cable giant has been in talks with owner of network for weeks

(Newser) – Comcast is near a $35 billion deal to acquire NBC Universal, which encompasses the network, a movie studio, cable channels and more, sources tell the Wrap. Bankers from the cable giant and General Electric, NBCU’s parent company, met Tuesday after Comcast decided to think bigger than a pursuit of the 20% share being unloaded by shareholder Vivendi.

Your statement is far from true. Out of CNN, MSNBC and FOX - Fox is the most popular (right now).

Big government is as bad as big corporations. But if there were less of one, the other would control us. We have already seen what the free market can do and it's not even completely free! We have also seen the fail of a complete government like hiter or stalin. We have also seen how we just stay in this shitty balancing act in the middle at the whims of the extremists of both sides. Maybe we should ditch them both instead of being stuck in the middle.

Does this mean that Comcast will include MSNBC on basic cable service? That would be great. Because most viewers don't want Fox as a new source. Most would like it if Fox News would disappear altogether or that least let them block it.
