Gosselin defends himself against odd pairing of singer, Bethenny Frankel

(Newser) – His reality show may be washed up, but you just can't keep Jon Gosselin off TV. The octodad subjected himself to yet more pounding on the Insider last night, this time by—of all people—Donny Osmond and Real Housewife of New York Bethenny Frankel. Frankel doled out the tough questions (“Why do you guys go through this in public? It’s just bizarre to play out every single emotion and conversation in public.”) while Osmond offered up sage relationship advice (It’s “about what’s best for your spouse.”).

“I think you're defeated. You need to pull yourself up from your bootstraps and get back to your kids and get your crap together,” Frankel continued. “You need to pull it together.” Jon’s—questionably effective—defense of his “rebellious phase,” as Frankel called it: “I went from 32 to 23. My therapist has told me that. My therapist told me I went from 32 to 23.”
