(Newser) – It appears Hailey Glassman has finally parted ways with mantrum-prone boyfriend Jon Gosselin—or has she? Though Gosselin released a statement to Entertainment Tonight saying, “Hailey says she thinks it's a good idea that we both take some time right now and focus on each of our individual lives,” both Glassman and Gosselin are appearing on the show tonight to answer the question once and for all (or, at least, once).

Meanwhile, Gosselin’s publicity tour continued last night at his $20-a-ticket appearance with Rabbi-to-the-stars Shmuley Boteach. Jon claimed not to be a fameseeker; the rabbi (star of a probably-canceled TLC show) tried to get him to blame his divorce on TLC; Jon graciously didn’t spend too much time villainizing soon-to-be-ex-wife Kate. Also in attendance, according to Gawker’s spy: Entertainment Tonight, Extra, TMZ, and FOX News.

The latest: Cox told Stern yesterday, in a segment picked up by the Huffington Post , that she has not had sex since splitting with Arquette back in 2010. Arquette—who has remained friends with his ex—encourages her to date, Cox says, but "right now, I'm not quite ready to date. I'm getting closer ... as things become more final in my life with David." Seems feds have charged Iowa photog Teresa Hunt with trying to extort the parent company of TLC, which airs Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar's show, reports the Des Moines Register . Hunt allegedly sought $10,000 or the cancelation of the show, lest she make public photos that show a Duggar cousin in a less-than-squeaky-clean light with—gasp!—a much older "musician." More»

(NEWSER) - Those poor kids of the Jersey Shore: They've been hit with numerous lawsuits , slammed by scientists , dissed by a clothing chain and the governor of their state , and banned from partying on film in Florence . Now Hoboken, of all places, has publicized its disdain. A spin-off to the reality show featuring Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi and Jennifer "JWoww" Farley was to be filmed in the city, but the mayor denied the necessary film permit, the Huffington Post reports.
