Sky high prices at Yankee Stadium are record for resellers

(Newser) – The average fan might need a loan to snap up one of the thousands of tickets available for tonight’s Game 6 of the World Series at Yankee Stadium. The cheapest seats are going for $550 online, the Daily News reports, but the online average is above $1,000. Resale site StubHub assumes the game will be its highest grossing ever—considering that the record is now held by Game 2, the last one played in NYC.

Yeah... I'm real jealous. My Houston Astros should be there... I don't give a shit about baseball because of teams like the Yankees. Who's going to win next year? Probably the Yankees. It's not fun to watch.

Yeah, apparently since they pay face value, it isn't considered a gift which must be disclosed. So your local congressman pays $75 and you get to pay $1000. Seems fair.
