Salahis Crashed Black Caucus Event

No, we didn't, they say, but had no tickets and were booted

(Newser) – The state dinner party crashers have rubbed elbows with Washington's elite before in what one miffed attendee calls “some practice” for the more recent intrusion. Michaele and Tareq Salahi were in attendance at the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation Dinner in September, where Obama spoke, and have Facebook pictures to prove it. Problem is, they “didn’t belong,” a CBC official tells Politico. Au contraire, say the Salahis.

The couple appeared on NBC’s Today Show this morning, and refuted charges of further crashing. “We were invited,” Tareq Salahi said, adding that any other story is a “gossip rumor.” Come on, says the CBC official, who believes they snuck in through the kitchen. Not only could they not produce tickets when asked, but the rolls have been “double and triple-checked” and there is “no record whatsoever” of the group the Salahis claim to have been guests of even asking to attend the event.

Yeah. So he wore a white tux. Subtle. And after Labor Day no less. Some people just don't know fashion rules.

Maybe so. What's your point? Or did you not realize that it is best to have a point before saying something stupid?
