(Newser) – Saying “there is nothing further that they can do to assist Congress in its inquiry,” the White House party-crashers turned down an invitation to appear before a House committee tomorrow. That was unpleasant news to the Democrat chairing the panel, who vowed quick action against Tareq and Michaele Salahi. “If the Salahis are absent from tomorrow’s hearing,” Rep. Bennie Thompson tells the AP, “the committee is prepared to move forward with subpoenas to compel their appearance.”

I thought that these two love parties. They seems to want to be invitated to them. So, the House is throwing a party and they are the guest of honor, why do they NOT want to attend? Or do they just like to crash parties?

Flip: grow up[ first, Bush was seldom at the White House. 2nd, it is clearly the Secret Service at fault..do you think Bush had a different Secret Service? If so, you know nothing at all.

Talk about arrogance! If they ignore a subpoena they will go to jail. Their "cheerleaders" on Larry King wouldn't answer directly if the couple were indeed invited. So far, I haven't seen any proof that they were? The couple are spinning this for publicity.
