(NEWSER) - In the new trend among high-end hotels, men need not apply. The ritzy Dukes in London is the latest to experiment with women-only rooms, notes Katy Holland at Aol . The idea is to cater to single females or women traveling in groups, and the no-boys-allowed rule applies even to the hotel staff that caters to the rooms. The Naumi in Singapore and Premier in New York City have similar offers, though a Denmark government agency recently ordered the Bella Sky in Copenhagen to stop offering women-only floors. More»

(NEWSER) - When it comes to disgruntled hotel workers, Joey DeFrancesco is about as famous as you can get. He became a YouTube sensation last month after posting a video of him quitting his job of 3.5 years at the Renaissance Providence—where he says he was "treated like shit"—with a marching band in tow. But the injustices of the world can't be righted with the click of a play button (which, incidentally, has happened nearly 2.9 million times so far). And so DeFrancesco started the Tumblr Joey Quits , where hotel workers can "make public their stories of unjust workplaces." His intention is not to have travelers boycott named hotels (he says he wants workers to "know they're not alone"), but he does tell CNN that the public can "let their disapproval be known with their wallets until things change." (NEWSER) - Erin Andrews is suing the insurance exec who stalked her as well as the hotels where he videotaped her nude, alleging they gave out her room number and allowed him to book rooms next to hers. The ESPN reporter and Dancing With the Stars competitor wants "to hold accountable those who put my personal safety at risk and who allowed my privacy to be invaded," she said in a statement to USA Today .
