(Newser) – You work hard your whole life, you become a professional basketball player, you win the NBA championship, you attend a White House ceremony honoring that feat—and the headlines say, "Khloe Kardashian meets President Obama." That's the fate of Kardashian's husband, Lamar Odom, and his Los Angeles Lakers teammates, who visited the East Wing today. Obama received a No. 1 Lakers jersey bearing his name and even teased Magic Johnson.

"I got a kick out of that,” Johnson told the Los Angeles Times. “What can you say when the president of the United States can trash-talk you? Normally I have a good comeback, but this time, I had to let him slide."

wow - great journalism here. You made a story about your article ,an article about its own headline, an insight wrapped inside your own home made enigma. Move over Enquirer - this is the Pulitzer winner. This is the future of news stories. Bravo - but what was Chloe wearing?
