Cyberattacks on Google and other US companies came from two Chinese schools—including one with ties to the country’s military, sources close to the investigation tell the New York Times. Tracing the incidents that far is something of a breakthrough, as experts—including those from the National Security Agency—previously only followed the trail as far as servers in Taiwan. The attacks also went on month longer than previously thought—dating to last April.
