Kicking that meth habit could take decades off your face in about 5 seconds, but some other less obviously dangerous activities also take a toll. Prevention lists nine other innocent habits that are secretly aging you:

  • You don't sleep enough: Pulling an all-nighter worked when you were 19. Now, it's adding weight gain, high blood pressure, and diabetes to those bags under your eyes.

  • You have a sweet tooth: It's making you fat and giving you wrinkles by damaging proteins like collagen.
  • You don't have sex: A little nookie juices your immune system and heart, and it can shave up to 12 (!) years off your face.
  • You don't eat fat: Without heading to the all-Big Mac diet, a little omega-3 or unsaturated fat greases your brain, heart, bones, joints, and skin—in a good way.
