Circa 30 AD, Jesus Christ drove the money changers from the temple (painting by Carl Bloch). Circa 2010 AD, he'll be a 30-something New Yorker.   (Getty Images)

(Newser) South Park's recent Mohammad mess hasn't soured Comedy Central on religion. The network, seemingly hungry for more controversy, is developing an animated series about Jesus, writes the Hollywood Reporter. JC sees the savior trying to escape an overbearing father—God apparently plays video games constantly—and live a normal life in New York City.

Comedy Central honcho Kent Alterman isn't worried about potential blowback—at least not right now: "We don't even know what the show is yet," he said. Producers from The Office and American Dad are on board the project.

Well I guess this is safer for Comedy Central than making an animated series about the profit muhammed..At least the Christians won't come cut your head off...

Everyone has the constitutional right to believe whatever they wish, BUT God has no constitution. He is the GREAT I AM! He Gave us the Ten Commandments to guide our lives. Had we obeyed them, we would not have major diseases, hate, crime, murder, theft, adultery, environmental disasters, etc. But, even then, God was merciful and showed His undying love for us by giving His only Son as a sacrifice. He has His arms stretched out to us waiting for us to come to Him willingly. He is not dragging you by the ears. He is a Gentlemen and He will not push you to do what is against your will. Would you be happy if you had to force someone to love you? I am sure you would not be. He gives you the right to Him and He loves you unconditionally. So, what right do I have to force anyone? I am not a hypocrite, I am only doing what God has asked of me and that is to spread the wisdom He has given me so that the lives He loves and created can be with Him forever. God does not want you to spend eternity in hell. This world will come to an end. Again, you are offered a choice. You are not being forced to do anything. The option is just set before you. I just hope you make the right choice. whatever that may be. Life is not like the game show "Let's make a deal". In the end you do not get to choose what is behind door number one , two or three.....There is only one way in to heaven and that is through Christ Jesus. The road will come to an end and none of us know the time or the day. Are you ready? I sure hope so, because you do not want the wrath of God upon. I will also add, that God will overlook "Ignorance", but once you have heard the truth, you are no longer ignorant.Today, you have heard. My hope is that you will ponder on what has been set before you.. Be blessed.
