(Newser) - Rutgers advanced to the round of eight in the NCAA women's tournament with a 53-42 victory over George Washington, reports AP. Essence Carson scored 25 points to lead the Scarlet Knights and set up a rubber match with Big East rival Connecticut, with whom Rutgers split two games earlier this season.
