Prince died two years ago Saturday, and a bittersweet memento of the beloved rock star has now emerged. CNN reports on a newly released video of previously unseen footage, shot in 1984 in a warehouse in Eden Prairie, Minn., showing Prince's original studio version of "Nothing Compares 2 U." The song, which Prince wrote and sometimes performed live, was made famous by Sinead O'Connor in 1990. The New Yorker notes Prince originally composed the song for his jazz-funk band The Family and that it's not clear why Prince never released his own version. Enjoy. (Read more Prince stories.)
