Now this is a really big deal for Joe Biden: The veep's only daughter, Ashley Biden, yesterday married Dr. Howard Krein in the same Delaware church in which she was baptized, reports People. The 30-year-old bride wore Vera Wang, and dad was ready for the waterworks: "I kept telling Ash, we've got to open up the church and practice walking up and down the aisle so I can handle it," he said ahead of the nuptials. "I think to myself, aw, God, my little girl! This can't have passed so quick."
Ashley Biden is a Delaware social worker, and the couple will live "just 28 minutes away" from dad in Philadelphia. Krein, he notes, got his blessing before proposing last October. "This is the right guy," says the vice president. "And he's getting a helluva woman."
