(Newser) – Chris Rock has no problem criticizing Mitt Romney for his religion. Asked about the election on Jimmy Fallon last night, Rock replied, "I just heard this the other day: The Mormons, Mitt Romney's crew, they believed black people were the devil 'til 1978! I'm not making this up! … Seventy-eight! That means Jackson Five? Devil. Temptations? The devil. What changed 'em, Bootsy Collins?" And, as if to confirm that he's still holding it against Romney, he added, "President. Of the United States. Whooh."

Rock also praised Obama. "The economy has been getting better every month, for almost like two years. And everybody's going, 'It's not going fast enough.' It's like complaining that your team keeps winning by one." Spotted by Mediaite.

Why is Chris Rock going around blasting everyone on talk shows? The other day it was Chris Brown, although I dont blame him about that one. I for one, tune into Jimmy Fallon chidish show to see just this, not some lame comedian speak about politics, and other peoples religion. Romney didnt create the mormon church, just becasue he is a member of it, doesnt make him a bad person, or racist. The Osmonds are mormons too, I dont hear anyone calling them out on their religion. Most of these people are decent people as in every religion. Im tired of people calling him out becasue of what his religion is, vote for him or against him on his record, and policies not releigion.
