Clip of woozy 7-year-old viewed over 6 million times

(Newser) – A YouTube video of a little kid's post-dentist trip has become a viral hit, reports the Daily Telegraph. Spaced-out 7-year-old David, belted into the backseat of a car after having a tooth removed, asks “Is this real life?” and "Is this going to be forever?" The video has been criticized for exploiting the child but David himself finds it hilarious and is enjoying the fame.

David's dad says he made the video in an effort to help ease David's fear of doctor appointments. “I was trying to teach him that the anticipation is probably much worse than the actual event,” he said. “This might not have been the right case to give an example."
