(Newser) – Jon Stewart’s roll call of presidential hopefuls is filling the coffers at Comedy Central as big-name advertisers sign on for “Indecision 2008,” billed as “Something Approximating Election News With Something Approximating Honesty.” High-profile advertisers are flocking to “The Daily Show” and its offshoot, “The Colbert Report,” the AP reports.

Candidates who plan to display their sense of humor on the show this month—and risk going down in flames trying—include Barack Obama, Joe Biden, and Tommy Thompson . Neither Hillary Clinton, who has never appeared on the show, nor Rudy Giuliani, MIA since 2004, plans to tangle with Stewart this summer.
