LiLo's House Not Robbed, Just Messy

Plus, another ex pines over Jen, and more

(Newser) – Lindsay Lohan can’t catch a break. First she’s dumped, then her house is broken into—or not. The attempted burglary reported yesterday turned out to be a false alarm, the AP reports. Police said the house was just extremely messy, not ransacked. Elsewhere:

  • Jennifer Aniston’s exes are falling all over her. First it was Brad Pitt, now John Mayer, reports the Daily Mail. Mayer’s post-Aniston ex told Heat magazine, “He's been playing guitar alone at night, pining over her.”

  • Jimmy Fallon roasted his boss at a tribute to Lorne Michaels Monday night, the New York Daily News reports. The Late Night host skewered NBC chief Jeff Zucker in song, including the lyric, “He's the man who calls the shots, what if he married Courteney Cox?” and finishing with, “Oh, I just got fired.”
  • And in the “weird” department, rapper 50 Cent has a friend in Bette Midler. The two bonded over gardening, of all things. “Little Jewish lady and the great big rapper,” Midler tells E! “He's such a doll. I love him. He's gorgeous.”

"Lilo's house not robbed, just messy" ironic how much her life and her living conditions seem to be so parallel in styles....

Actually, the story made me feel a little better about my, er, indifferent housekeeping. At least no one's mistaken my house for a crime scene. Yet.

Using the term 'Lilo' is obnoxious and makes you sound like a tabloid ...or "E!". The AP sure as hell doesn't resort to doing it. That, and, this story is about as important as discussing the bowel movement I had this morning.
