O'Reilly to Blame for Abortion Doctor's Murder

And I'll never appear on his show again, says pro-choice advocate

(Newser) – Abortion-rights advocate Mary Alice Carr has made many appearances on The O'Reilly Factor, to the anger of her progressive friends. But in an article for the Washington Post, Carr says she's through with the program—and blames Bill O'Reilly for the murder of Dr. George Tiller. "O'Reilly knew that people wanted Tiller dead," she writes, "still, he fanned the flames."

The Fox host is being "incredibly disingenuous" when he insists he did nothing wrong, and he has even continued calling the murder victim "Dr. Killer." "When you tell an audience of millions over and over again that someone is an executioner, you cannot feign surprise when someone executes that person." As for going back on the show, Carr writes, if even the killing of a man inside a church isn't enough to make O'Reilly change his ways, there is little point in debate.

As I typed it I realized that my comment could be misinterpreted this way. serfinWI acknowledges the need to provide abortions for poor women in some cases, so some common ground exists. I wish I could be confident like serfinWI that safe, legal, affordable abortion will be a reality in the future with law abiding abortion providers being villified by the likes of O'Reilly and gunned down in their churches by known nut-cases.

Apparently Citrix lover has no spell-checker either.

To:Paul 123 My comment was not directed at you but the commenters in general. I was specifying that although I was not going scapegoat Bill, that there was blame to go around on all sides, particularly from the Dittos. I wasn't talking to you at all. I am sorry you took it to heart personally.
