Men Hot for Average Women: Study

Sorry, hotties: scientists find males prefer typical to supermodel

(Newser) – Women need not be supermodels or Playboy bunnies to attract men’s attention. In fact, guys tend to find so-called average women the most attractive, scientists tell the Telegraph. They polled 100 male students on line drawings of women’s torsos with varying measurements, and found that the men preferred those of average women—say 36-28-38 and 5-foot-4—over centerfolds.

“The orthodoxy says that you will be attractive with a certain waist-hip ratio no matter how the rest of your body varies," said the lead researcher. "Our study shows this is not the case.”

I agree Allison. The study sounds like bullshit to me: men responding how they think they should respond as opposed to what they truly think.

Yes they do. Ask any guy over to your house without your annoying friends over there. It's typical that girls would think this because for the most part they try to lure guys in with bad makeup and revealing outfits (not looking to lure the right guy at all). Now this article talks about waist sizes which is what we are talking about, If you have an ugly face forget about it, in that case bring on the makeup. I think there is no fact into what Robert_Dada says at all and that's not just my opinion. There are key facts on how guys pick there woman and that's not one of them. Woman in the back of their mind pick there men by shoulder width. I suggest you read more on the topic and post better responses.

If you want a guy to "act" like it, go to a guido bar. Here is some identification classifications for a guido (they will tell you everything you want to hear).:GUIDO: Male; not necessarily of Italian descent, but most likely; usually native to the New York/New Jersey Tri-State area. WARDROBE: tight zipper shirts, tracksuits, designer jeans, fuzzy kangol hats, tiny hoop earrings, fake gold chains, and related Euro-trash garb and tacky cheese-wear. NATURAL HABITAT: Known to frequent Tri-State area malls looking for club gear to waste their week's pay on (most likely spotted shopping at "Bang Bang" in Staten Island). During the day when not at their food delivery, telemarketting, or construction job, can be located at their local gym tanning or lifting weights. Can be found nightly at mainstream danceclubs they read about online (SF, Webster Hall, Etc.). Most notable for cruising the Jersey shore in an old car (Honda, Mustang, etc.) which has been tinted, painted and sports $1,000-$3,000 rims in a feeble attempt to look like new. Guido cars usually have a boomin' system through which cheesy music like freestyle, commercial club/trance and hip-hop is loudly blasted.
