Jackson May Be on View in Glass Coffin

Funeral promises to be extravagant event

(Newser) – Michael Jackson’s funeral could be as lavish as one of his concerts. His body will reportedly be transported in a horse-drawn carriage, and he could be on view in a glass coffin. “The glass casket idea would create so much public interest it would take time to organize,” a source tells the Sun. “People would make the pilgrimage from the other side of the world.”

“The idea is causing internal stress within the family,” partially because, under the Jehovah’s Witness beliefs of parents Joe and Katherine, the body must be buried as soon as possible, the source adds. “The question that keeps coming back is, ‘What would Michael have wanted?’”

I'm with you, unfortunately I would think that this task would be asking too much of a mortician.

All kidding aside, with all the plastic surgery Mike's had and all the mascara that he’s used, I'm not sure if a glass coffin is the way to go. I would assume that the Jackson family and his organizers will need to figure out how they would like to present Michael in death – as the strange individual he was (Wacko Jacko) or as a more serious minded individual. Remember this will be the lasting impression of Michael. I hope someone makes the right decision – remember the man was a very talented performer whom should be respected in death. Like I’ve said before; there’s no one currently out there in the entertainment world whom can replace Michael Jackson, or is it Wacko Jacko?

This may sound morbid...but its been almost a week since he passed away...He may not look like himself with too much time gone...Hopefully his mortician will do a good job of preserving him...
