Jackson Video Shows Him 2 Days Before Death

Share

(Newser) – One last Michael Jackson video has emerged as a sad cap to his career. Made just two days before he died, the video shows Jackson rehearsing at LA's Staples Center for his London concerts, reports E! Online. Show promoter AEG released the short footage of him performing the song "They Don't Care About Us."

AEG, meanwhile, has begun refunding ticket-buyers, but the tickets themselves are emerging as popular souvenirs. "It is one of the hottest items on the memorabilia market right now," says a source. "People realize they can get more money selling them to collectors than getting a refund."

He doesn't look fine to me, he looks like he's running on fumes-sheer willpower. Wasn't there one person is this guys life who wasn't feeding on him, but was actually looking out for him? Apparently not. Reply

I agree. I don't know how you call that "fine form"; he barely moves. It does look like sheer willpower. You look back at what some of the great dancers were still doing at 50 and this seems a little sad.

Not much fancy-schmancy Mikey going on here. Hardly what we'd come to expect from him, but it was only a coupla minutes of a rehearsal, and given what we know now, he was not in good form. Reply

My heart just feels heavy watching that, knowing what we know now. Maybe none of us cared enough. Maybe we never do. Reply

I don't know. I just watched it and if i was at a concert i wouldn't think he looked like he was dying. He wasn't wobbling or anything that appeared he was high. Reply
