In Sex Satisfaction, 'Hotlanta' Lives Up to Name

Residents also engage quite frequently

(Newser) – Not satisfied sexually? Perhaps it’s time to move to Atlanta. “Hotlanta” is the nation’s most sexually satisfied—and second most sexually active—metropolis, reports the Journal-Constitution. “Atlanta doesn’t wait for the weekend,” says a rep for the company that conducted the survey for Trojan condoms. But San Francisco apparently does: Its residents are least satisfied. “San Francisco may have planted the flag on sexual expression but Atlanta’s making it wave,” says a columnist.

Trailing Atlanta (73%) on the list of most sexually satisfied cities are New York (71%) and Houston (70%); Boston (60%) brings up the rear, so to speak. And Houston (101) trounces second-place Atlanta (88) on the list of top cities in sexual frequency per year, with Washington, DC (86), a close third. For the complete lists, click the link below.

Glad to hear you say that-I try to disguise my Southern drawl all the time, but I'm not too successful... : ) Guess it's a good thing that I'm actually in the South. If I ever move up North, the people will laugh at me for days (like the people have done when I've traveled on the East Coast). Reply

I will admit I'm enamoured with the Southern Drawl, and to me, at least, its much more appealing than an East Coast accent.

I live in New England, and I find our accents unappealing. So it's a bit of a treat when someone has a Southern drawl, it sounds really nice to me anyway.

I don't laugh at people's accents--unless they have the strongest southern drawl and claim they have NO accent. Then it's hilarious! Reply
