(Newser) – The Chinese people trust prostitutes more than they trust politicians, scientists, or soldiers, according to a new survey from Insight China Magazine. Sex workers finished third, the BBC reports, with 7.9% of the vote, just behind farmers and religious workers. “A list like this is at the same time surprising and embarrassing,” said an editorial in a state-run newspaper.

The editorial took some solace, however, in the fact that scientists and politicians “have not slid into the least credible category which consists of real estate developers, secretaries, agents, entertainers, and directors.”

Comparing prostitutes with politicians is unfair and a gross lack of respect. I mean, for prostitutes. They let their asses, not ours like politicians use to do.

Just watch out for the clappy legislation if a prostitute gets elected. LOL. It would still be better than the current one in office

Bottomline: It's all about the money and a prostitute will tell you that in a heartbeat. I guess it goes back to that old saying "Honesty is the best policy"; This is something our politicians have a hard time dealing with.
