Family Guy Baby Stewie Is Gay: Creator

Explains why he wants to take over the world, MacFarlane says

(Newser) – Baby Stewie was this close to coming out as gay in an episode of Family Guy, but creator Seth MacFarlane says he decided “to keep it vague” because “he’s a 1-year-old,” the New York Daily News reports. “Ultimately, Stewie will be gay or a very unhappy repressed heterosexual,” MacFarlane says in September’s Playboy. “He has a lot of aggression, which comes from confusion and uncertainty about his orientation.”

I'm not. It's pretty obvious Stewie is gay. I can't tell you how many times they hint at it but the most obvious was when Brian was telling Stewie what being gay was and Stewie replied "oh yeah I could totally get into that."

Nice try Seth, but you're about 10 years too late in trying to give your characters depth and range. I can't believe Family Guy got away with being such an awful show for so long. There's no character development (that's if there are even any good characters, maybe Brian?). The animation is lazy and lifeless--every character has maybe 2 facial expressions. The voice acting is grating on the ears with no range or nuance at all. Most importantly, the writing is even lazier and an insult to well-written SHOWS like Simpsons, Futurama, and other non-animated shows. Family Guy is a collection of jokes tailor made for people with ADD who can't keep up with storylines and character development. Reply
