Hannity Guest: I'm No Nazi—Obama Is

Gov't practicing Nazism 'almost line for line'

(Newser) – After a congressman compared health care protesters to “brown shirts,” a disabled Marine vet appeared on Sean Hannity’s show to refute the claim, saying the “Nazi” label was better placed on the Democrats, Gawker reports. “I don’t think it’s acceptable language that he’s comparing us to Nazis,” said David Hedrick.”If you want to call us Nazis, let’s look at Nazi doctrine. National socialism is very much what we see today in this administration.”

“It’s the policy almost line for line,” he said. “It’s the same economic policy, it’s the same political policy. So if they want to talk about Nazis, then they better be careful about that conversation, because they might find that the swastika is on their own arm.”

David Hedrick's town-hall takedown of Rep. Brian Baird landed him a follow-up opportunity to spout his views on Sean Hannity's show.

Hey Marine.... Betcha you get free care at the VA and a disability pension to boot. But, if you disagree so much you can refuse it all.

Why are so many discussions reduced to whatever the provocateurs choose? Instead of the subject at hand many intelligent posters are continuously waylaid into a hate filled name calling free for all. If we can't stay on subject, why not? Is it really so hard to just ignore those who have nothing to add except division and name calling? Is it really that hard to ignore them and have considered thoughtful discussions about the subject? Any answer including your thumbs down only encourages them. Please think before you do that. Ignore them and stay on subject. It will not only be informative, but satisfying. These people are not well or informed and they are making the world a dark and ugly place. Just a thought.
