Kabul Embassy Fires 8 Guards Over Nude Parties

Share

(AP) – The US Embassy in Afghanistan says it has fired eight security guards following allegations of lewd behavior and sexual misconduct at their living quarters. The management team of the private contractor that provides the guards is also "being replaced immediately," officials at the Kabul embassy said today. The eight fired guards immediately left the country.

Two other guards resigned and also left. All of them appeared in photographs that depicted guards and supervisors in various stages of nudity at parties flowing with alcohol. The scandal surfaced this week when an independent watchdog group, the Project on Government Oversight, said guards were subjected to abuse and hazing by supervisors.

Now I knew you where a few short of a full bunch Jayster999 but that is simply idiotic. Way to use a homophobic response to a story that carried no content even remotely geared to that subject.
