Think Tank Taps Bachmann as 'Miss November'

Conservative group's calendar also features Prejean, Coulter

(Newser) – A conservative think tank's calendar of "Great American Conservative Women" features a relative newbie: Michele Bachmann. The Minnesota lawmaker, who was elected to Congress in 2006, appears in the Clare Booth Luce Policy Institute's calendar as "Miss November." The calendar also features Carrie Prejean, Michelle Malkin, and Ann Coulter, the Star Tribune reports.

I am sorry for you. Thinker is a misnomer. I think you need more then a little introspection of what I presume is your party of choice. I fear you do not have the self honesty to do this. Years of therapy with a good psychoanalyst may, I repeat may help you. We can only hope the Dems will include that therapy in their plan for you.

All those republicans currently behind bars will now have a pin-up calendar to mark off the days of their sentences. I hope for their sake they air-brushed away Anne Coulter's adams apple.

(NEWSER) - A second Minnesota Republican is getting off the 2012 sidelines, sort of: Michele Bachmann will form a presidential exploratory committee by early June, CNN reports. The Minnesota congresswoman may form her committee earlier in order to participate in early GOP debates—sources tell CNN she'll file if debate sponsors require it for two in early May. Minnesota governor's race headed for recount

(NEWSER) - More than a week after America went to the polls, seven House races are still too close to call and two statewide elections are undecided. The results look certain to make the historic Republican win in the House even bigger, the Los Angeles Times notes, with Democratic candidates defending all seven districts and leading in just two—California's 11th and Kentucky's 6th. The differential is fewer than 700 votes in most races; a 10th race in North Carolina's 2nd has been called for the Republican, but a recount is expected. More»
