Clinton: I'll Have Coffee With Palin

Secretary says maybe she could change ex-gov's mind on some issues

(AP) – Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton says she would be happy to talk to Sarah Palin over coffee. In an interview for broadcast today on NBC's Meet the Press, Clinton says she's never met the onetime GOP vice presidential hopeful and former Alaska governor and thinks it would be very interesting to sit down and talk with her.

Clinton was responding to a question about a passage in Palin's new book that says if she and Clinton ever meet for coffee, "I know that we would fundamentally disagree on many issues." But Palin says, "my hat is off to her hard work on the 2008 campaign trail." Clinton, in Singapore for a meeting of world leaders, says she's ready—and maybe she could make a case on some of the issues on which the two women disagree.

You fear Sarah Palin don't you? That is the whole problem with all you liberals/progressives whatever the hell you call yourselves. One year you are Democrats, the next Liberals, the next progressives. I look forward to next year to see what you jackasses call yourselves.

Just because you don't agree with someone you don't have to cal them "a poor excuse of a human being". I can tell you are not a Christian. When will you liberals learn that people can have a different view than you and that is ok? Thank God we are no all alike.

CITYGIRL... Yes Hillary has extreme ambitions. Duh.. Just because she was married to a president does not give her what SHE needs to become president or anything else. Sarah Palin on the other hand has been a governor of the biggest state in the union. The people their voted her in. Other than being appointed to Sec. of State by Hussein because of a deal they probably made she has done nothing else in politics. Sarah Palin can kick Hillary's butt. Sarah has been there and governed . She is the real woman. I am sure she could teach Hill a thing or two, three etc...
