US, South Korea Offer North 'Grand Bargain' on Nukes

(Newser) – South Korea's president says he and President Barack Obama have agreed to offer North Korea a "grand bargain" aimed at ending the North's nuclear program. President Lee Myung-bak, speaking at a joint news conference today in Seoul, said the deal would be similar to his proposal for a package of political and economic incentives in exchange for the one-step, irreversible dismantling of North Korea's nuclear program, the AP reports.

Lee's proposal stems from concerns that North Korea would continue to backtrack on promises after winning concessions in negotiations. Obama, meanwhile, said that his envoy on North Korea, Ambassador Stephen Bosworth, will travel to Pyongyang early next month for the first bilateral talks with the communist regime since he took office.

sarah, your mind is as small as your "well earned" cash cheque your sentences are riddled with errors in logic and its clear that you're so self centered that you cannot think past your own little bubble. Have you been bullied in the past? Do you not understand what it's like to deal with other people, other living creatures, other societies? are you so shit scared of other people being superior to yourself, and being able to hurt you? In turn, maybe you deserve to be attacked by a meth head tweaking out, and in your dying moments you may understand that if you, as a responsible human being in a civilized and educated country, had given a small portion of your cheque to the government or any institution to help people get off of meth, he wouldn't have attacked you! Drug addicts don't consciously choose to be drug addicts, its a long and slow downwards spiral of destruction when you have few people around you to support you. You're right to say you owe nothing to anyone else, but if you dont share that wealth, we'd end up exactly in the financial situation we're in now...Despite how much you may hate this fact, a society is made up of not just "desirables" but also "undesirables" and it is a mark of how tolerant and sustainable your society is in how such vagabonds are treated. 5 Years ago, I lost everything in an apartment fire and had no insurance as i was a student. The city, through tax payers money, put me up in a hotel for the night and gave me coupons for food and sent me to a clothes bank. I was able to bounce back within a few months, while staying with friends, and have once again become a productive member of society. I pay my taxes now, and have returned the favor. Under your logic, however, I would've been declared a slacker and deserve death. People like you, Sarah, are the reason why America is going downhill. I hope you fully realize this, and feel secure in your naive xenophobia as the society you cherish turns to shit around you....through fault of your own and others like you.

So try not being a conservatard sheep and then you may be taken seriously, because speaking your mind out with nonses is not gonna help
