A few hours after being voted an All-Star, Red Wings goalie Chris Osgood played regrettably against Minnesota, giving up five goals in 28 shots and losing the shootout. His opposite number, Niklas Backstrom, was chased after four goals in 30 minutes, but replacement Chris Harding stabilized the Wild and turned away two of three in the shootout. Minnesota won, 6-5.
