Denver pulled off a 114-113 overtime win over Miami, despite lackluster nights from Allen Iverson and Carmelo Anthony. JR Smith put up a team-high 28 points off the bench, with Kenyon Martin adding 24 to prove that the Nuggets don't have to depend on their corn-rowed superstars to produce, reports the Rocky Mountain News.  Elsewhere in the league:

  • New Jersey had more trouble than they expected from Minnesota (23-for-25 on the road), but thanks to Vince Carter's 17 points and Bostjan Nachbar's 3-point dunks, the Nets found a 92-88 victory.
  • Memphis, fueled by Hakim Warrick's 24 points and 13 rebounds, ended a six-game skid with a 107-94 defeat of Sacramento.
