Madonna: Reporting Rape 'Not Worth It' for Me

During the first year a young Madonna lived in New York, she was raped, and she opened up about it during an interview with Howard Stern yesterday, E! reports. She needed money for a payphone, and a man she asked for change convinced her to make her call from his apartment—then raped her. But she never reported it, she said: "You've already been violated. It's just not worth it. It's too much humiliation."

She also revealed that she once dated Tupac Shakur. She was dating the rapper when she made an F-bomb-filled appearance on David Letterman's show in 1994, she explained, and Shakur "got me all riled up on life in general. So when I went on the show I was feeling very gangsta." The news of their relationship surprised Stern, though Madonna said she thought it was public knowledge. (The Material Girl also recently revealed why she doesn't date men her own age.)
