Kim Kardashian has gotten herself into a series of spats lately, and the latest is with Azerbaijan. Kardashian, who has Armenian heritage, posted an image to Instagram this week showing military helicopters and tanks with the Armenian flag flying, along with the message, "Praying for everyone in Armenia and all around the world!" Armenian separatists are fighting Azerbaijan for control of a restive region in Azerbaijan that is run by a majority of ethnic Armenians, and the Azerbaijani ambassador to the US didn't think Kardashian's "expert" opinion on the matter was needed, he tells Foreign Policy.

"She’s very famous and beloved by her fans, but matters of war and peace are a little too serious for a reality-TV star," Elin Suleymanov said. "I personally would be a very bad reality-TV star, so I try not to cross into areas I’m not familiar. I'm not sure Ms. Kardashian is a military or political analyst, so maybe we should all do what we do best." Armenia Now notes that Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian have shared similar pro-Armenia sentiments on Facebook in recent days. (More Kim Kardashian stories.)
