GOP Drowns Woes on SNL

Romney and Santorum run down the primary season

Mitt Romney and Rick Santorum got a little crazy (with a napkin and chocolate milk, natch) last night on Saturday Night Live, as the GOP field gathered in a bar to run through the primary season that was in a Cold Open that was actually funny. "Good writing, solid impressions, and it didn’t overstay its welcome," writes Sarah Devlin at Mediaite. "It’s a miracle!" Jason Sudeikis' Romney slipped the waitress an envelope, telling her to give it to her husband as "he'll know best what to do with it." Kristen Wiig's Michele Bachmann put in a wide-eyed appearance, as did Bill Hader's Rick Perry, and Keenan Thompson's Herman Cain. (Read more SNL stories.)
