Israel Declares That Heinz Isn't Ketchup

The nation's health ministry has decreed that Heinz's version doesn't have enough "tomato solids" to qualify as ketchup and has downgraded it accordingly, reports the Times of Israel. The ruling still allows "ketchup" to remain on the bottle in English, though not in Hebrew. An Israeli competitor, Osem, triggered the move after conducting tests to show that Heinz didn't have enough tomato paste, reports Haaretz.
