A 22-year-old UK man is dead, and a quote from the local assistant coroner sums up the sad and bizarre tale: "While in the kitchen, he took hold a knife to demonstrate it was stab-proof and sadly realized it wasn't the case." He then stabbed himself in the chest, fatally, reports the Independent. After an inquest into the death, authorities ruled the injuries to be self-inflicted, though unintentional. Assistant coroner Karin Welsh chalked it up to the "foolishness of youth." (Read more knife stories.)
