(Newser) – Canada's Justin Trudeau will apparently not be apologizing to President Trump over the video in which he and other world leaders are overheard laughing about Trump's impromptu Q&A with reporters at the NATO summit. CNN reports via sources that Trudeau on Wednesday personally spoke to Trump about the incident, providing context for the remarks, but no apology. Trudeau did, however, confirm that it was Trump who was being discussed, saying, "Last night I made reference to the fact that there was an unscheduled press conference before my meeting with President Trump. ... It was certainly notable."

After the video surfaced, Trump called Trudeau "two-faced" and canceled a press conference. And then he got snagged in something of a hot mic incident of his own, notes the Daily Beast. After he was questioned about his decision to cancel the press conference, Trump can be overheard saying, "Oh, and then you know what they'll say. 'He didn't do a press conference. He didn't do a press conference.' That was funny when I said the guy's two-faced, you know that." (Read more President Trump stories.)
