Cindy McCain blasts “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” in a celebrity-studded anti-bullying video—while her husband works to keep the measure alive in Congress. “Our political and religious leaders tell LGBT youth that they have no future,” she says in the spot. “They can’t serve our country openly.” John McCain, meanwhile, is heading up a Senate filibuster to keep DADT alive, Americablog Gay reports.

“Laws that legislate discrimination teach bullies that what they're doing is acceptable,” say other celebrities in the ad. Cindy McCain adds: “Our government treats the LGBT community like second class citizens, why shouldn't they?” (Click here for more on John McCain's efforts to preserve the law.)
