You won't get to see any gruesome images of Osama bin Laden or his watery burial, but the White House did paint a sort of mental picture for those craving a visual. While correcting some inaccuracies that were announced as fact yesterday, Press Secretary Jay Carney also walked reporters through the steps that were taken during bin Laden's burial in the North Arabian Sea. After being washed, the body was placed in a white sheet and then into a weighted bag. At that point, a military officer "read prepared religious remarks," which were translated into Arabic. Bin Laden's body was then "placed on a prepared flat board, tipped up, and the deceased body eased into the sea," said Carney. (More Osama bin Laden stories.)
