Jon Stewart: CNN a 'Lazy Susan of Stupid S***'

He also made fun of the GOP debate in there somewhere

Jon Stewart was not a big fan of how CNN handled the GOP debate—or as he termed it, “the world’s most patriotic game show.” The Daily Show host mocked John King’s goofy questions like “Elvis or Johnny Cash?” or “Deep dish or thin crust?” (Stewart: “I have a follow-up: crazy bread or churros?”), and derided the network’s profusion of tech gimmicks—especially the QR code that would give viewers “exclusive content.”

“So you’re suggesting that while I watch this debate I get out my phone and take a picture of this screen, launching a mobile device internet browser to bring me to another screen filled with exclusive content deemed not good enough to put on your 24-hour 7-day-a-week why-don’t-you-text-us-to-vote-on-which-stories-you-want-to-see lazy susan of stupid shit?” Stewart asked. Then, with a laugh he added, “I watch way too much CNN.” Oh, he then went on to mock the actual candidates, too (see second video).
