It must be election crunch time:

  • Obama: His campaign has added an exclamation point on signs and banners to make it a slogan of "Forward!" notes the New York Times. "It reflects the energy out there," says the campaign's Stephanie Cutter. The slogan previously had a perplexing period on "Forward."

  • Romney: A 30-year-old supporter in Indiana got $15,000 on eBay to tattoo the Romney campaign's "R" logo on the side of his face, reports ABC News. Eric Hartsburg, who is not disclosing the anonymous bidder, says he wants to show young people that "it's OK to be a Republican."
