Rachelle Friedman Chapman was paralyzed in a bachelorette prank gone wrong; she went on to get married anyway and write a book. Now, as People reports, she's a new mom, courtesy of a college friend who volunteered to be her surrogate. Friedman Chapman and her husband, Chris Chapman, welcomed daughter Kaylee Rae yesterday. "My husband was a sperm donor for some of our friends, a same-sex couple, and that inspired me to think about surrogacy," surrogate mom Laurel Humes says. As for the Chapmans, the new family will star in a new TLC reality show. "People think as a quadriplegic I can't move anything, that's not true," Friedman Chapman says. "There's a lot I can do and I want people to see that." (Read more paralysis stories.)
