(Newser) – British police now have zero suspects in the drone plague that shut down Gatwick Airport after releasing a 47-year-old man and 54-year-old woman who had been arrested Friday and charged with "criminal use of drones." The pair, Sussex Police tell the BBC, cooperated fully and "are no longer suspects in the drone incidents at Gatwick." Though police didn't name the couple, who live about five minutes from the airport, the Mail on Sunday went right ahead and did, complete with a front-page photo of them and the headline, "Are These the Morons Who Ruined Christmas?" Turns out they're not, according to cops. "Our inquiry continues at a pace to locate those responsible for the drone incursions, and we continue to actively follow lines of investigation," says a Sussex Police rep. Flights Sunday were proceeding apace, reports the AP. (Read more Gatwick stories.)
