The search for a missing Georgia student has ended with sad news. WRDW reports the body of 21-year-old Alexis Crawford, a student at Clark Atlanta University who last spoke with her sister on Oct. 30, was found Friday in a DeKalb County park. Per CNN, Atlanta Police Chief Erika Shields told reporters that one of two suspects in the murder of Crawford led authorities to her body. Crawford's roommate, Jordyn Jones, originally told police she'd last seen Crawford just after midnight on Oct. 31, after the two women had gone to the liquor store together, per 11Alive. Jones said Crawford then went to bed, and that the next morning, Crawford wasn't in the apartment and the front door was locked. Now, Jones, 21, is one of the suspects in Crawford's murder, along with Jones' boyfriend, Barron Brantley, also 21.

Although Shields said a clear motive hasn't been determined, Crawford filed a sexual assault complaint on Oct. 27 against Brantley, alleging she, Jones, and Brantley had been drinking together when there was "unwanted kissing and touching from Barron Brantley," Shields noted, per CNN. In the complaint, detailed by 11Alive, Crawford goes on to say that Brantley followed her into her bedroom, and that she then went into the bathroom, at which point she blacked out. That's when Brantley sexually assaulted her, she alleges. Brantley was booked into Fulton County Jail on Friday and charged with murder, as well as various probation violations and "hindering [a] person making emergency telephone call," per jail records. Per Fox News, an arrest warrant for murder is also being secured for Jones. (More missing woman stories.)
